Blog N°6: My summer plans

Welcome to my blog N°6, this time I will talk about my plans for this summer. Enjoy it!

Since I was a child, it has been a tradition that every summer I travel to Valdivia with my family to visit an aunt and my cousins. However, I haven't gone with my family for about 2 years, since I work and go out with my friends and girlfriend during the summers. This summer I would like to visit the central coast and its different beaches. I would like to make this trip together with my girlfriend and friends. We also plan to go to Pucon or Villarica, visit their forests, rivers and lakes (and parties jaja). Honestly, since we have been in quarantine for so long, I want to see all my friends and family with whom I have not shared for a long time. I miss them so much, I hope I can share with them, eat or drink something and enjoy a good time together with my loved ones. 

 

 

Regarding work this Summer, I plan to return to the Jumbo supermarket, to work as a packagger. Also, due to the panemia, the event centers have closed, so it is but that this summer they can open and i will can to work in El Novillero, washing dishes or attending people. I don't plan to study in the summer, but I do have plans to get to know and discover new things and learn about politics and history. 

 

This summer I hope to do things different from the routine I've had for the last 8 months. I want to go out with my girlfriend, see my friends, participate in freestyle battles, go to parties and enjoy each day as if it were the last of my vacation. 

 

 

Blog N°5: My favorite serie

Hello! Welcome back to my Blog. This time I will talk about my favorite series, I hope you like it.

                                        

Without a doubt, my favorite series is "Black Mirror" (you can see all its seasons on Netflix), created by the English Charlton "Charlie" Brooker. I like it because each episode of Black Mirror has a different story, but they have one element in common: hypothesize about the extreme consequences of technological progress in a modern and dystopian environment, with a society affected by technology and social networks ("techno-paranoia").

For example, in its different episodes you can see technology like chips behind the ear to record everything your eyes see, extraction of human consciousness to create holograms alive, popularity in social networks to access benefits, robots that simulate the life of a dead person, hacker attacks and many other elements that make Black Mirror a spectacular series. 

I recommend seeing it, it is very good and the best thing is that you can start with the chapter you want, since the story has no linearity.

I really enjoy short series, where quality of production, script and cast of actors is demonstrated. Currently, I would like to see season 2 and 3 of Shingeki no Kyojin (as season 4 is coming out soon) and Peaky Blinders.

Blog N°4: My future Job

 Hi! Welcome to my blog number 4, this time it will be about my wishes for future work. Enjoy it!

To be honest, I haven't thought about what kind of job I would like to have, however, I think I have some expectations about my future work. I would like to have a job that brings me closer to the citizens, where I can help solve their problems and contribute to the improvement of their lives.  I imagine myself working in the area of management and administration of my commune (Paine), since there are many citizen demands and social needs that have not been met by the mayors of the last decade. For example, there are many problems with the administration of public funds and their distribution in social programs. 

                
To carry out these tasks, I would like to have a 50/50 job: to find the perfect balance between office work and outdoor work. Thus, I would like to travel in my job, but to do it within my commune or neighboring communes, I do not want a job to travel internationally or interregionally. As far as salary is concerned, I hope to have a salary that is enough to support my family and give us certain trips from time to time. I hope to specialize in public fund management or public policy planning, as I feel that at least in my commune these are the weakest areas in terms of municipal management. 

        

Blog N°3: My favorite movie

Hi! Welcome to my Blog N ° 3. This time I will explain which is my favorite movie, what genre of cinema I like the most, and which was the last movie i saw. I hope you like it! 

My favorite movie is "Corazones de Hierro" (or "Fury") which was directed by David Ayer, and starred Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal and Michael Peña. It is a film based on the Second World War, where the protagonists must crew and defend an American tank from German attacks. I like it because the cast is top-notch, it has very graphic special effects, which gives a more realistic experience of WWII battles.

           

The movie genre I like the most is action movies, adventure movies, science fiction and super heroes.
I really enjoy the special effects, fights, battles, shooting, etc. I constantly ask myself, "How did they do this scene?," and I like to see the "behind the cameras" of my favorite moments in each film. 

                         

The most recent film I saw was "As above so below". It's a horror movie, which I saw with my girlfriend for the Halloween night (since, because of the pandemic, we couldn't go out trick-or-treating :c). I highly recommend watching it, since it incorporates an element not very common in horror films, which is to tell the story in "first person", which provides a more real and terrifying experience for the viewer.

                    

Blog N°2: My best holidays

Welcome to my blog N ° 2, this time I am going to tell a very special story of my best holidays, a memory very beautiful that i save in my mind.

                                 

In July of the year 2019, with my girlfriend Anahi, we made our first trip to the beach alone, where our destination was Pichilemu. I was very excited because my parents had allowed me to travel alone, something very strange about them jajaj. In Pichilemu we stay in a hostel called Kuyen, a very cozy house, where we share with Chileans, foreigners and live beautiful moments.

At the hostel we rent bicycles to explore Pichilemu. We venture through hills, fields, dirt roads, nature and animals to reach our destination: Punta de Lobos.

                                   

Punta de lobos is well known in the world for its ideal waves for surfing (it was declared a world surfing reserve). Definitely a beautiful place to visit.

We also got to know the Pichilemu beach where we enjoy its gastronomy, typical places and the sea breeze. In summary, it was an unforgettable and very special trip, where we met many beautiful places together with a person that I love very much.
